what are the other Data plans?? I do not have internet at home.

I need more data and there are no add-on or data options to choose from on Koodo self-serve?? I do not want to call customer service, if you guys will charge me to 'Talk' to customer service RESPRESENTATIVES. I have no (home) internet in my area yet, therefore I need to add a lot of data, i'd hope you have some kind of plan to accomodate me. Literally if there is not a good data plan, i will likely have to leave this company.

Considering the great network coverage we provide our plans that include data are very competitive Vicky. All the info is on our website regarding current plan selection. Shock free data plans are the best as they will prevent surprise bills by pausing your data consumption when you reach your monthly limit. At that point, of course you can purchase additional data right then and there. We only charge a fee for transaction that customers can do themselves for free online. We do not have service fees for inquiries. Does this help?

I understand the shock-free. There is nothing on the add-ons or data..........ON-LINE. It explains the same thing. Shock-free. Well, sheesh. Nothing to choose from for add-ons. How much would it cost us to add 1gb/2gbs/3gbs/etc..........?? I have 2 lines here. No cable or inernet at home I need to ADD-ON a lot of data, if it is a good deal?? if not, I need to search for good data plans

Are you looking for more than 10gb included in a plan per line ? There are Monday add-ons per see that you can add before reaching your data limit. Most of our customers only care about adding data when they run out. That is why we went down this path.

You need a Mobile Internet plan, and Koodo does not offer such things.

YMMV, but some users have reported data add-ons with Koodo via personalized offers. I haven't been able to achieve any of such add-ons on my own Koodo account, so I am unable to validate.
Koodo does offer many good deals, but don't offer an outlet for dirt-cheap massive data allowances. YMMV, but you might find tricks to achieve this easier with other carriers (although they'll never explicitly advertize this).
Why not get home internet? Even a cheap sub-$40 home internet deal with a reseller will likely be more cost-effective than signing up for a massive data plan.

Umm...I am in BC. Not a lot of options for home internet services. Anyhow, waiting on Shaw or TELUS to get to our area and drop some lines. (no infrastructure where we are). Even tho telus was given 6 mos notice that 6 new homes were going :/

Your best option will have to be mobiles internet then. The per GB rate you can get via Koodo or any other carrier just cannot compare, despite mobile internet in Canada generally being quite expensive.

I am in BC as well, Telus does have some wireless internet plans for remote areas, you might want to check if they cover your area.

Massive data plans are traditionally more cost-effective on top-tier carriers (TELUS/Bell/Rogers).
Agreed with @Azure123 if you qualify for their wireless home hub for internet (based on postal code I think).

I checked it online. My area does not qualify for the HUB at Telus 😞 booo

Vicki, for just $20 more a month you can double your current data bucket in your plan. That's 10GB.
