was over charged, koodo had promotion for upgrading tab for free. I was charged for it on my bill

Then you misunderstood how this works. The $5 charge is for the new phone you got that you are paying off monthly. There is no free lunch anywhere in the world. 🙂

Medium tab comes with a month $5 tab charge. It will be removed when the negative tab is gone.

If you don't know what you were overcharge for, you can check Self Serve and go to your e-bill for detailed billing. If you believe this was an error, feel free to contact Customer Care to speak to a Rep about this.

Sounds like you had a negative Tab repayment on your bill. Do you have paperwork from the store? Did the rep show this to you?
