What phone do you have tegbir? You can either swipe away the notification by swiping down then swiping the notification to the right on android. Or on iOS you can just open the phone app, check voicemail and the red icon on the corner of the app will disappear.
m using note 4...
steps i tried:
1)clearing cache data of phone.. restarting phone
2)changing VM number

but nothing worked so for..

Open the dialer app and press the menu key Scroll down to settings... Clear voice mail indicator Btw all of Koodos recent plans (last two years at least) include Voicemail. With the exception of the 15$ text only prepaid plan.

Not to sound like too much of a dummy but have you tried accessing your Koodo Voice Mail to see if there is a message there? By all things "technical" what you have done should have removed a 'ghost' notification.

Yeah i already tried it... Initially I told koodos to disable my VM.. Then i called customer service. They enabled it... i checked, there is no VM saved also nothing in deleted folder.. Restarted my phone after checking. VM notification still on screen.

I can only suggest making sure all your important data is backed-up and doing a factory reset.

Hi Tegbir! Can you check to see if a software update is available on your device?  If yes, can you proceed with it?  Let us know if it works!
There was no software update and I also did factory reset on my phone but nothing seems to fix it.

Then I called Customer care to Enable VMail.
Left new voicemail on my number and deleted it..
after that problem was resolved.

Now its not showing VM icon on screen or notifications.

Thanks for everyone helping me in this problem..
Really appreciate
