Voice Calls Down for 1week +. Extremely frusterated.


With my Samsung Nexus S, the voice calling service has been great for the last year and a half. But now for 1 week I have had no voice calling service. I went to the Koodo desk at the local Mall (Mayfair in Victoria BC) and they said the "service is down" and it should come back within a day. Well it's been over 5 days since they said that and still no service. I'm relying on this phone to work and Koodo is sadly falling short of their promise. Fix the service ASAP or you will be losing a valued customer.

The system issue with the nexus s was resolved within 24 hrs. Pull the battery and sim card and reboot the phone. If it still doesn't work, it's a DIFFERENT problem.

Try removing the battery and sim for a few mins and try again
OK. I called koodo and they recommended the same thing as the two comments above. The key is to remove the SIM card and battery WHILE THE PHONE IS ON. If this was a known issue, It would been much better if a) the koodo service desk was aware of this solution and b) the instructions for fixing the problem would have been sent by text or email to all nexus S owners.

Skeet, all battery pull/powercycles must be completed while the phone is on. This would of been stated when you contacted Technical Support.
