Upset customer NOTE II Pricing

I just purchased the Note II on the third of this month, after having it a couple of weeks now I really like it. But I am quite upset to see that the phone is now $100 cheaper than what I paid. The phone was $500 outright when I went to pick it up in-store. I paid over $200 out of pocket and have $300 on my tab. Is there any type of pricing guarantee? I understand prices change but not so soon, I'm quite upset about this..... Where would I go to talk to a Koodo employee about this?

You could plead your case to the loyalty team and see what they'll do for you, but pricing guarantees are only for 15 days, the general buyer's remorse policy. So if you very quickly seek out a kiosk open until 9PM (at least here in Ontario) then you may be able to get the price difference, otherwise you're out of luck. Sales come and go, my friend. The only people who know is the people who work at head office. I get emails from my field rep about pricing literally the day they change or MAYBE the day before but generally we're just as in the dark as you are.

Return it today!!!!! Today is the last day of your 15day return period
All locations would be closed in my area... I live about 30 - 40 minutes away from the city. Not happy. A customer for over 7 years, this is the first time I've legitimately not been satisfied from Koodo. I work in retail I understand prices change often, but it seems like a slap in the face for a new phone to be put on sale so fast. Don't think I'll be going with Koodo for my next phone. (not that the other carriers are any better, just a better selection and an upfront price that doesn't hurt as much) Thanks for the replies.

Just to play devils advocate, what will happen if the next carrier puts your next phone on sale shortly after you purchase? I suggest following Jonathans recommendation to call in and see what can be done. Maybe a tab credit? Service credit. Maybe nothing. But you owe it to yourself to check

I would call Koodo like everyone said. *611 from your Koodo phone and plead your case.

Dylan, 7 years ago, Koodo did not exist. They started out in 2008.

Don't despair yet, Dylan, usually (!) Koodo is pretty good at customer relationships 🙂 Don't be unhappy until there is something to be unhappy about 😃

2 weeks after I bought my car Toyota has dropped the price by $1,500. They wouldn't eve take my call. If every time something goes on sale I called the companies I would spend a good chunk of my time on the phone. At least with phone companies you have a 15 day "trial" window and they do often give you the sale price 'cause they know you could return and "re-buy" the phone. You can't return a car.:-)

You have three days to return a car

It sucks, but you're making it sound like the Note 2 had an immediate price cut. It's been out with Koodo for a while and it's jut unfortunate that this happened a day after your money-back guarantee expired.
