My plan says unlimited mms texts which implies no additional charges for them as they are included in the plan. Reality is after several searches and questions asked is that one must turn data on to send or receive mms at a minimum $5 cost for the first one of the month OR block all "other" data except mms at a cost of $2 a month. Why does it cost TO NOT GET something?
If unlimited mms texts are advertised as included one should be able to send / receive them just like normal texts without having to hope no "extra" data is used and with out a sender having to first text you to turn your data on so they can send you a mms.
There is a way if Koodo wanted to do it to configure their system/phones to allow mms texts without additional costs. The phones should be configured when delivered/set up to only allow mms data without turning data on, problem solved and Koodo is once again an honest company. It goes without saying that pay-per-use data users should be able to access "other" data when they wish by using just their phone with no additional cost to turn data on or off.
PS If there is a way to configure a S5 neo so one can use the mms feature as advertised ie no additional cost please do share .
