Unable to use phone for 5+ hours; phone is "updating"

Hi, my koodo phone has been "updating" since 1:30 when I clicked on "install updates." It is 7:30 pm and it is still not finished. Help?

Hello I'm hereing your android is slow updateing there to reason way this happeneing wen updateing make shour your android full charged.make shour you clear running apps in the background don't forget is like a computer. More running it slows down
or defaced parts stop the phone remove the battery form back of the phone. .
5 minutes up it back in tray gen if not call koodo technical support by pressing 6# on your phone
if use landline ask put through technical support. thay help more

Where is the phone in the process, what's showing on your screen?
It seemed to be stucked in this mode. I cannot get out of it.

Hi! Yes, it is. I brought my phone to a rep at a local mall and he sent me home with this link: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/winphone/wiki/wp8-wpupdate/how-to-fix-a-microsoftnokia-lumia-that-has-frozen/27a32cf5-96cf-4447-878c-309ca2e45654 However, I have a MAC book so I can't download the software to correct it. So, I will use a friend's phone tomorrow and call Koodo and see what are my options.
