Trouble getting my phone unlocked.

So im trying to get my galaxy s4 (that i got on a tab) unlocked using the koodo self serve website , but for some reason whenever i try to unlock the phone it says "Just a heads up! We're unable to retrieve an unlock code or programming instructions for your Koodo phone. Your account has not been charged an Unlock Fee. If you have questions, please call Customer Service at 1-866-99-KOODO (1-866-995-6636) or *611 from your Koodo phone." I always pay my bills on time, i haven't received anything from koodo telling my account is behind. sometimes my bills have been big (i.e 150, so i may break up the bill into two payments based on my paychecks but they aren't late.) . I still have a negative tab balance though(but im planning on paying the entire balance off in a few weeks) How can i get my phone unlocked officially by koodo , also can i get an unlock code from the Koodo kiosk (its on my way to the gym)?

I'd suggest calling Koodo when they're open tomorrow & get the code that way if you want to get it through Koodo. Or use CellUnlocker.net if you want it for cheaper through a 3rd-party site.

Your best to call customer service to have them unlock it. Really though your best to try GSMLIBERTY.COM or Cellunlocker.Net they're cheaper and you'll have your code usually withing 15 minutes. Koodo charges $50 but I paid $30 through GSMLIBERTY.COM to unlock my Galaxy S4 when it first came out and it might be even cheaper now.

Just wondering if I were to use either CellUnlocker.net or GSMLIBERTY.COM will it affect my warrenty.

There's been a huge debate about this. Technically it shouldn't, as it's not modifying software/hardware on the phone, but carriers generally say it does as they don't want you to use it with a competitor's network.
