Tab upgrade question

My phone just broke ( screen cracked and no longer responds) and it still has $100 left on the tab. If i bring my iphone in after having it unlocked can i just continue to pay off the old tab over time instead of paying it all at once?

Yup. As long as you dont need to use the tab for another phone, you can keep paying off your current tab regardless of the current device you are using
Im going down to the mall tomorrow to do all of this (including getting my iphone unlocked) even though im not the account holder can i still make this change on my own? I know all the account info and my phone is abviously on the account. Also, we haven't payed our bill yet but i need a phone, will i be able to do this without paying the bill (yet).

If your broken phone and iPhone take the same sim card then you can just insert your sim into the iphone. If they use different sized sim cards then you need to buy a sim card for $10 from koodo. Then you can log into Self Serve and change phones and enter the new sim card number to register it.
Can i buy the new sim even though my bill hasnt been payed yet? And they take different sims but i can cut my current one to fit into the iphone, is there any downside to this? Seeing as i cant use the old phone anymore and if i mess it up i could just buy a new card. And sorry im repeating a question here but it wasn't answered. The account isn't under my name (though i am on it) can i do this without the account holder with me.

You can buy a sim card at a Koodo shop no questions asked. You dont even need an account. You dont even need to give any account info. I have done it at the mall once, I just popped in and asked for a sim and off I went. For only $10 I would highly not recommended cutting your own sim card. You risk damaging the sim and then damaging the phone.

But since you're not the account holder, idt they will transfer the service to your new sim. At least idt they should.

As long as he has access to the self serve account he can just make the change. Sorry for some reason I just assumed that he had access to the account via self serve
