Tab concern

Hello, I was wondering about upgrading my phone. I still have $70 owing on my account, but my phone is absolutely awful. This is the second time with Koodo that my phone has become almost completely useless to me but I still have a bunch owing on it still (if the phone can't last as long as the tab maybe that tells you there's a flaw in the system?). I've been a loyal customer to Koodo for a long time now but I'm frustrated with the quality of the phones... I'm under the impression that if I call in I will be charged for their services... Is there any way I can have my tab wiped and start with a new phone or get someone to contact me? Thank you for your help! Michelle

Hi Michelle, If you were wanting to upgrade your device you'd have the option of paying off the remainder of your tab by charging it to your next bill or paying it off in store when you decided to get a new phone. That would be the quickest way to get the remainder paid off. Hope that helps answer your question 🙂

There are parts of your post, Michelle, that can only be dealt with over the phone with a rep. Because of this, your best bet would be to call *611 from your phone and explain your problem. This is a free call by the way. As for calls being free or charged, it's pretty simple actually. If what you want to achieve can be done via Self-Serve, then the phone call (the service in fact, not the call itself) will be charged. If it's something that can't be done on Self-Serve, then it's going to be free (the service from the rep, that is).

- if the phone can't last as long as the tab maybe that tells you there's a flaw in the system?... Koodo doesn't make phones... but I feel same way that many phones these days don't last long. If there is a problem with your phone, you could use the warranty repair too.( if it's cover by it) I also recommend you to call Koodo to explain your situation as David mentioned. There is no guaranty that you will get your tab balance wiped or reduced. But it doesn't hurt to try 🙂
