So I joined Koodo nearly a year ago and have 14 months left on my contract and a tab owing of $210 on the phone I got with the contract. My boyfriend is on Rogers and we have decided it would be easier for us to be on the same plan, so I will be switching to his since we can share data and his bill would be cheaper with me on it.
I am wondering what is the easier and cheaper method of cancelling my contract and switching providers. I would prefer to keep my number but if that is going to cost me more I'm okay with getting a new one. I have seen on some threads that all you have to pay is the remaining tab balance, and your last months bill, but I am wanting to know if there is any other cancellation fees I should be aware of.
I know there are a lot of knowledgeable people on here but would prefer the answer of a Koodo employee, but I thank everyone in advanced for your responses.
