Stupid battery on SIII

I have a Samsung Galaxy SIII and it is a piece of crap! The battery doesnt charge when off, and when it is on, it charges very slowly. I goes from 100% to 5% to 80% to 42% to 1%. Anything I can do?

Check under settings..battery to get an idea of what is eating into your battery. The normal culprits are screen brightness and the system itself. If an app seems to have a lot of usage, consider deleting it if possible. Check your charger by using it to recharge another device. Check your charging port on the device to make sure it's not damaged. If you wiggle the cable does it stop and start charging?

My brightness is always on low, i always close my apps after using them. I've already switched chargers. When I wiggle the cable, it stops and starts charging.

Then your charging port is physically damaged. The port is probably switching off and on depending on how the cable is wrapped. See if you can sit the phone in such a way that you know it's charging. Or you may need to get an external battery charger and a few batteries.

Keep in mind that physical damage isn't covered and a broken charger port is considered physical damage. Here is a link to the external battery charger discussion http://gsfn.us/t/3tjd8

It's not Koodo, it's Samsung, that considers it physical damage. You're welcome to try anyway but if that is the problem, they'll send you an estimate to fix it.
