Sony Xperia M4 Aqua - No Internet or Email when on Koodo network

Purchased unlocked Sony Xperia M4 Aqua yesterday.  I went to a Koodo store and purchased a new NanoSim attached to my monthly plan.  The phone works to text and make calls.  When I am home I can surf the internet and send/receive email using my WIFI.  Once I leave the house, I have no internet or email server connections.  I am connected to the Koodo network and can still text.  How do I fix this?

Check the phone for network compatibility here:

Then check your APN settings. Should be like so:

If it still doesn't work change the APN Type to Default, mms

Thank you for your replies.
I checked that website and it says my phone is compatible.  The girl in the Koodo store also said it would be fine yesterday.
When I check under APN settings, all I see is a message that says "Access Point Name Settings are not Available for this User"
Check the phone for network compatibility here:

http://willmyph...
From Sony: "If you are sharing a device with multiple users, only the owner, that is, the primary user, can download Internet and messaging settings from the Settings menu" Sounds like you just have to switch to the primary user account on your phone and then you should be able to edit your apn settings. I figured out how to add one with the details listed above.  Thank you all for your help.   Much appreciated.
