A few more details would help.
6 months abroad , arrived back to North America. Paid my in full , just to be greeted with "sim not provisioned" no help at selfserive Koodo

Did you have your plan on seasonal hold?

Did you pay your monthly bill?

Did you cancel your plan before you went abroad?
My son was to paid the monthly bill ,he only paid $150.00. monthly charges $ 55.00

If he only paid $150 and the bill is $55 per month for 6 months (total $330), then your line might have been suspended for non-payment.

When you look on self serve and download your PDF ebill, what is the remaining amount owning?

But was there a past due amount that caused your phone to be disconnected? If so there is also a reconnection fee.

If you are calling from BC, they should open in about half an hour
