SIM card connectivity problems

My LG G3 phone has been working fine for a year so far, but today it started telling me that it can't connect to the USIM card. When I try to take out the SIM card and then put it back in, it works fine for a minute, but then gives me the same error message. Can anyone help me? Thank you

If you have one, try using the sim in another device. Does it work fine? Either the sim card is failing or the sim card slot on your phone may be malfunctioning. It does happen. Has it been a full year? You may be eligible for warranty service if you're still under a year.
I do not have another phone to try it with. It's been a year and 2 months so I don't believe I can get that service.

Is there anything I can do to try and fix it?I'd recommend replacing the sim card. They do fail from time to time. If the problem persists a factory reset may or may not help resolve your issue. After that you're on your own to get the device repaired or replaced.
