Is there and app for Android you can recomend that can set everything for koodo or any carries I need? And what happens if I don't/didn't change settings: Nexus4 asks t reboot each time SIM card changed because it might resets network settings?

Just make sure the phone isn't set to 2g or GSM Only because Rogers is the only carrier in Canada that is GSM/2g.

It is but it uses strictly HSPA. Some older Rogers/Fido phones, like the Blackberry 8520, are GSM/use a SIM card but don't use HSPA, only what is called "2G" or "EDGE" only. Even if you unlock the phone, it will not work on Koodo because they do not support that kind of technology. Koodo had an identical model, the 8530, but it is CDMA - it had to be so it could work on Koodo's network. Telus/Koodo and Bell/Virgin only used CDMA (no SIM card) for a while and then went over to HSPA SIM card phones. Rogers/Fido never had CDMA and always used SIM cards, however it was 2G/GSM-only/EDGE and went up to HSPA (3G+) afterward.
Thanks
Thanks, helped me too coming from Telus
Thank you for your information. It is working now. I bring my iPhone 5 from Thailand. I bought Koodo prepaid sim in Vancouver. Register and buy data pack for 1 GB. It did no work. I called to call center. The agent explained to me to set APN. This is how to set APN via iphone configuration utility. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4839?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US This is the software to download: http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1466 Now it working!!!!
