Selling lgg3

Hey. So I recently bought the lgg3. Got a screen protector and a case with it. Turns out I did not like it that much. When I went to return it I could not because the person who sold me the phone forgot to tell me that I had to keep the.gift cards with it. So I got a different phone now and I need to get my he sold. Turns out many people only look for unlocked phones. Do you know of any way to sell this phone. I'm only looking for 250 and its not even a month old. Thanks!

When did you buy your G3?
How many days later did you go to the store to return, and which location?
I bought it Nov 30 and I went to return it 13 days later at the cote vertu location in montreal.

If you used the.gift cards, then you couldn't return it in "original" condition within the 15 day window, unfortunately.

Try kijiji.ca and see what they are going for. Your account has to be in good standing for 90 days for Koodo to unlock it (federal regulation). Third party results and policies will vary.

Right I have been trying that but it seems people are scared of buying a locked phone. So there's really no way of unlocking it before the 30 days?

Of course there is. In fact I would never pay $35 for an Android unlock. Just use a reputable eBay seller or cellunlocker.net and you're good to go. It'll be fast and cheaper. Once you get the code, turn off the phone and reboot it with an opposing carrier SIM card and it'll ask for the code. Put it in and voila.

Awesome. I think I will give that a go. Thanks!

The corporate 90 day rule is imposed by Feds onto the carriers.

But not everyone has to bring thier GM ride into a GM-suthorized dealer to pay top dollar for minor service. There are alternatives.

Cellunlocker.net, as suggested by Jonathan is a good website but I usually check eBay first as it tends to be cheaper.

Alright. Just to double check. Even though I have not had the phone for more than 90days I can unlock it without my phone getting blacklisted or locked or something bad happening to it?

Do you still owe anything for the LG G3 on the Tab?

It's all good to sell at any time because your tab is tied to your account not the phone so it won't be blacklisted unless you yourself were to report it stolen. If it's not selling then chances are your selling it for too much because there's no interest for that particular model. The G3 is nearing it's end of update support being it's over a year and a half old, many won't buy devices because of this.

Oh and if you bought the phone from a kiosk it doesn't matter if you used the.gift cards it came with you'd just have to pay their cash equivalent to be able to return the phone while in the 15 day return period.

Ok. That's what I was worried about with selling. Thanks
