Screen crack on S7 Edge

I dropped my S7 Edge a few days ago & the screen cracked. The functionality looks fine though. Any idea what is the best solution for a situation like this?
Any input would be appreciated.

Hello Andrew,

Very unfortunate what happened. The only solution is to send it for repair... but it's going to cost you unless you have a extra insurance from Koodo.

Hi Andrew, do you have the extended warranty you pay for extra each month? If so contact the insurance company and pay the deductible and have it repaired. If you don't then you'll have to send it for repair at your own cost.
@Robert &@Paul Thanks for your replies. Unfortunately I don't have the insurance. I'm aware that that'll cost. But do you happen to know how much it will be without an insurance? And send it to whom? to Samsung or Koodo?

Bring it to your local Koodo kiosk and they will send it away for you and let you know an estimated cost once the repair facility assess the damage and extent of the repair.

Just an FYI, 3rd party repair shops will probably fix the screen for $250+tax. Feel free to shop around. I'd recommend going with a repair shop that'll guarantee their work for 90 days (most will only guarantee for 30 days). Since the repair of the screen is not covered by warranty, there's no need to go to a Samsung or Koodo repair channel. Samsung phones are not overly difficult to repair for the repair shops...it's the parts that are expensive (the digitalizer).
If you can live with the cracked screen, given that the S9 will likely be out by March, I'd recommend saving up for the next upgrade. A little over half a year away isn't too long a wait for a flagship upgrade.

Keep in mind that if you go the 3rd party route and you still have a warranty it will void your warranty and will not be waterproof anymore, only Samsung can ensure its certified waterproof again
