Whichever you prefer 🙂 Both are good choices!

It depends on your requirements. What are you using now? Have you owned an iOS or Android device before? Usually ppl stay with their OS ecosystem

It all depends on what you prefer. Somethings to keep in mind is that iphones have 2 types of messaging - imessage and sms. imessaging uses data in order to send messages, and sms (short messaging service aka regular texting does not). imessaging was devised mainly so that iphones could send to iphones using the apple id (but was then expanded to include texting to regular numbers, not just the apple id). both come with a year long warranty, but if you need to fix your iphone it needs to be referred to an apple store, instead of going through a koodo kiosk Apple does have the extended warranty known as Apple Care which Samsung does not My personal favorite is samsung but both have good and bad points to them. I suggest comparing information using web sites (not samsun, apple, or koodo web site but something like google). You can find what people think of each phone, and the pluses and negatives, according to various people. The reason why I say not Samsung, Apple, or Koodo is because Samsung and Apple are trying to sell it to you so they are going to only give you positive attributes, and I have looked at Koodo pages and they have details about the phone, but what you really want is how it works for other people and what they think. Another source to try is a phone store place - they are trying to sell the phone, but they will also give you good information about each of them (keep in mind most sales people want to sell the most expensive to get the highest commission). This is the suggestions that I have, but it does come down to it is your choice

Dealing with an Apple Store instead of a Koodo kiosk is a plus. A kiosk can only send you phone for repair or replacement, while a defective iPhone is replaced on the spot in the Apple store.

" It is often reported that phone stores downplay iPhones, as the commission is higher on other brands. I agree with Dennis - first decide the OS you prefer, then choose the phone. If you are wedded to Google's platform, then look at Android options; if not, or only use gmail, then think about Windows phones or iPhones.

Both are rather capable devices. Typically, Apple phones have a better fit and finish than Samsung's Galaxy line, though Samsung has improved a lot in this regard. Both offer excellent performance. How do you use your phone? Do you like endless customization or "set it and forget it"? If you're into customization, Samsung's your choice. If not, Apple is. Android is an OS that requires a lot more user vigilance than the competition. Due to an absence of many restrictions that other mobile OSs have in place, you have to actively maintain what does what. It's not difficult at all, but some people aren't into it. Since you're looking at very popular phones, stores should both have a working demo of both phones. Go to the store and play around with them. Take your time. This is an expensive purchase and you don't want to make the wrong (for you) choice. Good luck!

When it comes to the iPhone 6 and the S5 they are both great devices in their own ways. Coming from an Android user for the better part of 4 years I always tell people that if they are into customizing their device to their liking then look at Android. If you like a fluid and simple OS then look at the iPhone. I will say that the Android OS has come a long way over the last few years and has in some cases surpassed the iPhone in regards to a smooth experience (depending on which android 'skin' you choose). Ultimately it's your decision in the end as to which is going to work best for you. Just my two cents 🙂

The MASSIVE downfall of the S5 is the gross lack of build quality. They put a band-aid on the back then wrapped in some fake chrome plastic material. Then you have an iPhone Aluminum phone with a premium feel. That being said like everyone says it will come down to the eco system. However basically any other device on the market other than samsungs previous devices is a better chouice if you want it to last more than a few months.
