Nope, my wife's S5 will actually say LTE when it has LTE service. You may not be in an LTE area. Where you at (generally)?

The G900f is the European model while we have the G900W8 North American model.

According to gsmarena.com, the G900F is missing the 1700mhz LTE band. That would explain why you're not seeing LTE

You have grounds to get your money back for the mistake if you can't live with the speeds. Good luck fighting them.

My note 4 which I purchased from Koodo, shows LTE. I have flashed roms before and some uses different icons as well. Do you have the exact same model as mine, specifically G900F because there are subtle differences from what I read? http://www.ncix.com/detail/samsung-galaxy-s5-g900f-unlocked-89-94889.htm

So the G900F is not compatible with Koodo LTE even though the bands are correct?
