Samsung GS3 restarting itself coonstantly

My Samsung Galaxy S3 keeps turning itself off & on, over and over and I can't do anything with it at all. What would make it do this? The phone is less than a year old.

Hi there... You can try to do a Factory Reset... To do so, make sure you back up all your information and contacts to avoid losing them... This is the path to do it, again, back up all your info since you will lose it... Settings > Personal > Back Up and Reset > Factory Data Reset > Reset Device > Delete All.

Just to add, if you can't access the menus of the phone at all you can perform a hard reset using the physical buttons on the phone. Here's how: 1. Turn the phone off 2. Hold volume UP and home (that rectangular button below the screen) 3. While continuing to hold those buttons press and hold power until the phone vibrates 4. When the Android logo appears release the other buttons 5. A recovery menu will appear, you can use the volume keys to highlight "wipe data/factory reset" and use the power button to select it. 6. select YES the same way 7. select "reboot system now" to restart the phone You can even try skipping steps 5 and 6 to potentially fix the issue without wiping your phone's memory, but if the problem persists you can try again following the full instructions.

Another option is to take it to repair (koodo kiosk) as the phone is less than a year old, it is probably still under warranty assuming there is no physical or water damage. This way you would be able to get a loaner phone while the phone is being sent away to be repaired, so at least you still have a phone while it is away.
