Samsung GallaxyS2X wont turn on

My Samsung Galaxy S2x crashed today, the battery drained completely in about 4/5 hours and now it won’t turn on, I have tried plugging it into my computer and it doesn’t acknowledge it and it just stays black screen, I have pushed the power and volume button at the same time, I have plugged it in without the battery and tried to turn it on, and still nothing, any suggestions?

First off you really should never plug it in without the battery in. Have you tried while charging it for a few hours with the AC adapter in your wall plug? The power that it gets plugged into your computer is extremely low and will take a very very long time to charge. Did you just get the phone or have you had it for awhile?
I got the phone in September so not that long ago, I've had it plugged in the wall for about 3 hours now and still nothing
I've been to a Koodo kiosk and they tried to see if they could recover some of the data from my phone, but when they pluged it directly into the computer it wouldn't acknowledge it, they even tried switching out the batteries but still nothing.

Did you recently try updating the phone over KIES software or have you ever connected it to KIES software on your PC?

I tried downloading KIES on my laptop and it wouldn't download, kept saying it was working but after 45 min I figured something wasn't working right. So unfortunately no it never connected

Sounds like there is something seriously wrong with your S2x, since none of the basic troubleshooting steps have yielded any results. Best option at this point would be to send it in for repair. As long as there's no water or physical damage, you still have the manufacturers one year warranty to fall back on. Try this and see what happens... If you have a charge in the device, the only option left would be to perform a factory reset. Press and hold both volume up/down keys, then press and hold the Power button. Let go of the Power button when a slight vibration is felt. Continue to hold the volume up/down keys. After a few seconds, you should arrive at the Android recovery utility menu. If not, the device needs to be sent in for repair. If you see the menu, use your volume up/down keys to scroll to wipe data/factory reset, use the Power button to select wipe data/factory reset and wait for the wipe to run it's course. This will wipe everything off your device and the S2x will reboot itself. At this point, much of what was stored on the device will likely be lost anyway, unless you've managed to make a backup of your contacts, music, apps and photos before you were experiencing this issue.
Unfortunately the phone is completely dead, I have tried everything I could find online. It has been charging over night and still nothing. I even had an alarm set for this morning hoping that maybe it would turn on with that but still nothing. Heading back to the koodo store today 😞 But thanks for the suggestion
