Samsung Galaxy s7 edge back order?


I ordered the Samsung Galaxy s7 edge online last week and now they are saying it is on back order? Anybody else having the same problem and any idea when it will be shipped? Koodo won't give me an answer. Before I ordered the phone Koodo stated that it was not on back order and I would receive it within 7 business days. I'm quite upset about this as I need this phone for my job. Any help or info would be great!

Stock levels change constantly, and the demand for the phone is very high, so I'm not surprised at the delay. It's not so simple as to order more from Samsung, as they will only allocate X amount to each vendor for the first 90 days from launch.

Maybe call around to stores in your area to see if someone has it locally instead of waiting for the webstore? It might be a longshot but you never know who might have one available for Koodo. Wow, Mobile Shop, Best Buy - try everyone.

The S7 Edge is online-only for Koodo. The S7 is available in store though.

I ordered mine online. But now it's on back order

I know how you feel Oleg, it seems like they are starting to ship the S7 edges for back-orders.
More of an issue with Samsung handling the launch of the S7.  Pre-ordered Titanium at Sherway Gardens Samsung Experience Store last month.  I finally received a phone call yesterday to pick it up.  What made this "experience" worse is that apparently that store was selling the s7 edges outright to people simply walking in - over people who pre-ordered!
Rediculous! Just a pain in the butt when you're told that the phone will be arriving within 7 days. So I fork out almost 600 dollars and then boom. Back order with no time frame of delivery. I'm not a happy camped this far.
