Factory reset will be the only way to solve... Sorry, an upgrade would also be a smart idea, the ...Not everyone can afford a top of the line flagship device and there's nothing wrong with that. People have to work within their budgets. What works for you may not work for the next person, so it's best to keep options open. Since you're kinda new here Matt, a few words of advice. Try not to repeat what someone else has already said. It doesn't go over too well here. Thanks.
Factory reset will be the only way to solve... Sorry, an upgrade would also be a smart idea, the phone is out of date and it may be best to go with something new. No problems will occur with a brand new S6!!!

The only way to bring back the performance of the Ace 2x is to factory reset the phone and even that is hit or miss. It was an okay phone for its time, but you may want to check out some of Koodo's latest phone offerings. The Moto G 3rd Gen is an affordable and reliable phone that might be worth considering.

So for those of you having problems with your Ace even after the factory reset, I went to have mine fixed and the guys said that it was dead. Nothing can be done 😞
My phone keeps shutting on and off even after a factory reset. It does this especially when turning on the wi-fi. that immediately shuts it down. Battery appears to still be good, it charges and is full.
i went through the reset options and now that i'm trying to set my phone back up it just keep shutting off and restarting.

There is no way to make the phone power on if the power button ddoesn't work. You'll either need to get the power button fixed or get a new phone.
So, my power button broke on my Ace 2x, but other than that it works fine. The problem is, the battery died and now I can't get it to turn back on. The last time this happened, I plugged it in, and pulled the plug back out after 3 seconds and then it turned on. But this time, it's not working. I kept reading that I had to hold the volume buttons and home screen button in so I could get to the reboot menu to (obviously) reboot it. The problem with that is you have to select reboot with the power button, and my power button doesn't work! Can someone please help me?
how would i go about getting a new battery for my Samsung Galaxy Ace 2x Go either ebay.ca or cellphoneshop.net. Either place has great prices. 😃
how would i go about getting a new battery for my Samsung Galaxy Ace 2x
I met the same case before on my HTC, but it waw normal after I restarted it.
the last post we followed all the instructions but the phone still shuts off as if the battery is...once the phone is plugged in and you turn it back on, the battery level reads a full charge (ie. 91% or whatever it may be at) the battery has been tested which shows it has full voltage.

the last post we followed all the instructions but the phone still shuts off as if the battery is...Sounds like you need a new battery. If you unplug the charger and the battery level reads zero, or the phone itself shuts off or fails to power on, it's likely the battery that's at fault.
the last post we followed all the instructions but the phone still shuts off as if the battery is dead. when plugged in the battery life is shown full or close to it.

The above mentioned method puts the Ace 2x in Download Mode and not Recovery Mode. To enter Recov...With all due respect, the samsung galaxy ace 2 sold for $150, even it was brand new. Most good quality smartphones retail in the $300-600 range. You did not pay 'a heck of a lot of money'.

The above mentioned method puts the Ace 2x in Download Mode and not Recovery Mode. To enter Recov...hey so i have the same problem is there any way to keep the data i have on my phone?
The above mentioned method puts the Ace 2x in Download Mode and not Recovery Mode. To enter Recov...the logo never shows and i tried all steps?
The above mentioned method puts the Ace 2x in Download Mode and not Recovery Mode. To enter Recov...I have a Samsung Ace IIX GT-S7560M and when I do #3, the logo NEVER appears even if I hold them for 10 minutes! When I just press the power button, the phone keeps rebooting on its own (shows model number, then blank screen, then model number, etc, etc) My battery is good because we have 2 of these phones so I can check and charge it in the other phone.
The above mentioned method puts the Ace 2x in Download Mode and not Recovery Mode. To enter Recov...THANK GOD FINALLY SOMEONE KNOWS THE ACTUAL KEY COMBINATION TO FACTORY RESET THIS DAMN PHONE. I'VE BEEN SEARCHING THE INTERNET FOREVER! THANK YOU <333

The above mentioned method puts the Ace 2x in Download Mode and not Recovery Mode. To enter Recovery Mode do the following: 1). Remove battery 2). Install battery 3). Press and hold Home button, press and hold both volume Up/Down buttons, press and hold Power button. Keep holding this button combination until the GT-S7560M logo appears and release the Power button, but continue pressing the Home and volume Up/Down buttons until a green Android robot appears. 4). Let go of the Home and volume Up/Down buttons buttons and you should see the Android System Recovery menu (in blue text). Use the volume Up/Down buttons to scroll through the menu, use the Power button like an 'enter' key to select the desired operation. 5). Scroll down to and select 'wipe data/factory reset', using the volume Up/Down keys and the Power button. 6). Scroll down and select 'delete all user data' Allow the device to go through the factory reset process. The Ace 2x should revert back to the Android System Recovery menu, press the Power button to 'reboot system now' and the factory reset is now complete.
