Not a good sign. I assume you gave it at least 5 minutes? If so, you may need to do a factory reset on the phone. This will erase all information stored on the phone, but might get your phone working again. Remove battery, sim card and sd card Put just the battery back in. Hold down the home button and the down volume while you power the phone back on. Do not release these buttons until the phone enters recovery mode. From the recovery menu, use the up/down volume to select factory data reset, use the home button like a mouse button to click on it. Once the reset is done, click on reboot now. Hopefully the phone will be working again.
I HAVE THE ISSUE, BUT MY PHONE DOESN'T RESTART OR DOESN'T GO TO RECOVER MODE. TELL ME DO YOU HAVE ANY ALTERNATIVE FOR THIS PROBLEM,, THANK YOU

Did you try rikkster's suggestion? If it didn't work, you can bring your phone to the nearest koodo shop and ask them if it can be sent to the warranty repair . If you can't use the warranty, you can check the nearby repair shop. Or it may be better to upgrade your cell phone. 🙂
Dang it, I have the same problem! Did anyone ever find a solution???

The above mentioned method puts the Ace 2x in Download Mode and not Recovery Mode. To enter Recovery Mode do the following: 1). Remove battery 2). Install battery 3). Press and hold Home button, press and hold both volume Up/Down buttons, press and hold Power button. Keep holding this button combination until the GT-S7560M logo appears and release the Power button, but continue pressing the Home and volume Up/Down buttons until a green Android robot appears. 4). Let go of the Home and volume Up/Down buttons buttons and you should see the Android System Recovery menu (in blue text). Use the volume Up/Down buttons to scroll through the menu, use the Power button like an 'enter' key to select the desired operation. 5). Scroll down to and select 'wipe data/factory reset', using the volume Up/Down keys and the Power button. 6). Scroll down and select 'delete all user data' Allow the device to go through the factory reset process. The Ace 2x should revert back to the Android System Recovery menu, press the Power button to 'reboot system now' and the factory reset is now complete.

I have a Samsung Ace IIX GT-S7560M and when I do #3, the logo NEVER appears even if I hold them for 10 minutes! When I just press the power button, the phone keeps rebooting on its own (shows model number, then blank screen, then model number, etc, etc) My battery is good because we have 2 of these phones so I can check and charge it in the other phone.

With all due respect, the samsung galaxy ace 2 sold for $150, even it was brand new. Most good quality smartphones retail in the $300-600 range. You did not pay 'a heck of a lot of money'.
the last post we followed all the instructions but the phone still shuts off as if the battery is dead. when plugged in the battery life is shown full or close to it.

Sounds like you need a new battery. If you unplug the charger and the battery level reads zero, or the phone itself shuts off or fails to power on, it's likely the battery that's at fault.

once the phone is plugged in and you turn it back on, the battery level reads a full charge (ie. 91% or whatever it may be at) the battery has been tested which shows it has full voltage.
I met the same case before on my HTC, but it waw normal after I restarted it.
how would i go about getting a new battery for my Samsung Galaxy Ace 2x

Go either ebay.ca or cellphoneshop.net. Either place has great prices. 😃
So, my power button broke on my Ace 2x, but other than that it works fine. The problem is, the battery died and now I can't get it to turn back on. The last time this happened, I plugged it in, and pulled the plug back out after 3 seconds and then it turned on. But this time, it's not working. I kept reading that I had to hold the volume buttons and home screen button in so I could get to the reboot menu to (obviously) reboot it. The problem with that is you have to select reboot with the power button, and my power button doesn't work! Can someone please help me?

There is no way to make the phone power on if the power button ddoesn't work. You'll either need to get the power button fixed or get a new phone.
i went through the reset options and now that i'm trying to set my phone back up it just keep shutting off and restarting.
My phone keeps shutting on and off even after a factory reset. It does this especially when turning on the wi-fi. that immediately shuts it down. Battery appears to still be good, it charges and is full.
So for those of you having problems with your Ace even after the factory reset, I went to have mine fixed and the guys said that it was dead. Nothing can be done 😞
Mobile Master Rikkster you are AMAZING!! Even Samsung live chat didn't get this right! They told me to hold only the volume up button with home & power which did nothing! Tried your steps & VOILA! Recovery mode!! GENIUS!!! Thank you!!!
