Same old problem of frequencies abd bands

Is an unlocked phone ASUS ZENFONE 2  with these frequencies 2G:GSM 850/900/1800/1900 3G: WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100, FDD LTE:2100MHz(1)/1900MHz(2)/1800MHz(3)/1700MHz AWS(4)/850MHz(5)/2600MHz(7)/900MHz(8)/800MHz(20) working fine with Koodo/Telus?

Koodo 3g uses 850 MHz and 1900 MHz frequencies[b] while their LTE network uses 1700/2100 MHz 
so yes it will work with Koodo.

Does your phone need to have only 1 of these frequencies or it needs to have both ?
Example:  A phone that has 3G: WCDMA 900/1900 / 2100MHz capability.
