It seems the Mobile Data shortcut is missing from the quick settings panel. Apparently, some carriers disable the shortcut. Why?
I am very glad there is no Telus/Koodo bloatware installed on the phone, but disabling such basic feature, which is available on unclocked S9/S9+ directly from Samsung, seems disappointing.
It's not on any of the past Samsung flagship's for the last couple years actually so no surprise.
You can follow the steps here: https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-restore-mobile-data-quick-settings-tile-toggle-on-samsung-galaxy-devices/ or this for even more precise instructions (pdf) https://goo.gl/1bGCtD I've been doing it on my Note 8 after every update since I've gotten it. It should work on your S9 as well? May as well try.

I wrote about the same workaround about three months back for the Galaxy S7.

Works like a charm, no root required. The toggles are stock in appearance, so they don't look out of place in the notification windowshade. Once you get the hang of it, it takes a matter of a few minutes to reinstall the toggles after an update or factory reset. Updates are generally spaced far enough apart, but it may catch you by surprise once you get used to the toggles being there for awhile and then disappearing after an update.

Hi rikkster
Thanks for spreading the word about the script. I've been able to confirm that it works with android pie as well. Waiting to get my hands on an s10 to try it out as well
You can find details and help about the missing data toggles here.
