S7 Edge - Black lines appeared on my screen - HELP!


This issue just started last night. Not sure what caused it, just seems to have appeared out of nowhere.

My screen has 3-4 black translucent lines. They get bigger / smaller when I adjust the brightness. This is really frustrating, I havent even had the phone for 1 year, and I baby it. Has anyone else experienced this? How can I fix it?

I bought my phone online from Koodo directly for what its worth.

You will have to go through the warranty process.  Make sure you do that before your 1 year is up

I personally have not experienced the translucent lines you are experiencing,

There is a temporary fix that has worked for some people. Go to the brightness settings, turn on auto brightness then drag the slider all the way to the right.

If your phone is within 15 days of purchase you can return it for a new phone.
If it is within 1 year then you can contact Samsung to get instructions on a replacement screen for your phone.

If you got the phone from Koodo, Koodo can assist you to get warranty service and a possible loaner device. I'd go with the warranty process.
