S6 Edge Availability

I live in Toronto, and the S6 edge is not available in ANY koodo stores I could get a hold of. Is there a set date, or at least an expected date for the restock of the second wave of s6 edges, or do I just have to wait blindly?

Your frustration is understandable. What I can tell is that it's not due to lack of effort on our part to have these units in. There is a fairly broad speculation that Samsung itself created the shortage to drive up demand. It seems they took a chapter out Apple's book. http://vancouver.24hrs.ca/2015/04/09/... We did sell thousands of them since its launch but it is indeed difficult to keep them on the shelves with Samsung limiting the quantities ordered. Eaton Centre, Yorkdale Mall, Scarborough Towncenter, Sherway Garden are likely the best places to continue to try. Maybe even leave your number with them and if they can they will cal you back.

oh I did not mean to imply any sort of shorthanded support or effort from Koodo's part. I understand that you guys are trying your best, and just wondering if anyone on this forum had more information regarding the issue rather than the ones I got in contact with. I guess it's safe to say that there is no specific restock date or plans?

I know...no worries. 🙂 Restocking is really dependent on whether Samsung will actually deliver according to plans.

It's sad to look at my S6 edge case and screen protector are laying on my desk for 3 weeks because I couldn't get an Edge at Koodo. The only option I had was putting my name on the "waiting list". 🙂

Koodo, Virgin, and Fido, none of them have any Edge in my city lol!

There's also dozens of Koodo retailers all over Toronto like Wow, Mobile Shop, Best Buy, Cellular Point, and Wal Mart who might have stock as well. You should give those stores a call to see what their inventory is like for Koodo S6 edges.
