s5 neo syncing issue with outlook.com

Samsung S5 Neo with Android 7.0 is suddenly not syncing the calendar with outlook.com. If I originate calendar item/change on the phone it syncs with outlook, but if I originate item/change on outlook, it will not sync with the phone. I'm using the phone's native calendar app. 

This issue is simultaneously happening on my husband's phone. Same phone and same app. We have had no issues for the past year. Just started recently. Help!

I don't think this had to do with Koodo. I'd suggest changing the calendar app to see if it solved the problem or ask your question on a specialized forum (https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5-neo/help)

What app are you using to sync with outlook.com? Samsung's calendar app? Have you tried downloading Outlook from the Play Store? I find it to be a lot better than the default. It handles both email and calendar, and is not limited to Outlook accounts if you use other services as well.
Thanks for the replies! It fixed itself it seems, so it must have been a bug of some kind.
