Reverse data charge?


I went to the States for a conference this past month. I momentarily turned on my data out of habit to try to receive a photo by text but I realized immediately that I shouldn't have done it and I shut it off. Unfortunately, I've been charged a $5 on this bill. It says right beside the $5 charge on the bill that there were 0 MB transferred so I know I didn't actually use it. Is there a way to get the charges reversed? I'm very careful with my data in general as I don't have unlimited and finances are very tight right now. I would appreciate your input. If the picture had actually downloaded, I would understand that I would have to pay but I didn't use the data at all.

Hi Kelly,

You will have to contact Koodo to see if they can do anything for you.  The recommended approach to chat with a rep is to send them a private message via their twitter or facebook page
