Well the 5c has been out of circulation for a while.
stores are selling until they are out and that's it.
As for the 5s, it is currently on sale for $100 and $15 a month on a tab.
So quite a bit more than the $5 a month you are paying.

That being said there should be no issue trading out phones.
Did they give you a reason?
Do you not have all packaging or what?

5c stock they probably don't have as it was discontinued however they should take your galaxy back unless it's damaged. You may have to cancel your account and restart it with the phone you want. Remind the retailer that you have 15days to return your device in accordance with the CRTC mandate. If they still refuse ask them why and demand to speak with a supervisor4.
Welll. I had been looking for zero downpayment.. but first they said 5 c is there but when evng i went they said i cant exchange and all that..

They need to give you a reason why you cannot return the phone. Exchange you may not be able to do but cancel you certainly can.

yeah, you have the money back guaranteed policy you can take advantage of, so you could easily return the phone and get another one.. depends of the retailer or shop, you should take a look at the contract, it's written over there as well

Brilliant! Wish I'd thought of that!

Trial period When a customer agrees to a contract through which they are subject to an early cancellation fee, a service provider must offer the customer a trial period lasting a minimum of 15 calendar days to enable the customer to determine whether the service meets their needs. The trial period must start on the date on which service begins. A service provider may establish reasonable limits on the use of voice, text, and data services for the trial period. During the trial period, customers may cancel their contract without penalty or early cancellation fee if they have used less than the permitted usage; and returned any device provided by the service provider, in near-new condition, including original packaging.

Hey Krishna! Were you able to return your phone?? Like everyone here just mentionned, you have a 15 day trial period when you can return your device. The only reason why they wouldn't take it back is if the device has been physically damaged in the few days you had it. If that is not the case, demand an explanation. If they still will not accept, call us at *611 directly from your phone and we'll speak to them.
