I gave my old S6 to a family member (I switched to a S7), who had a S4 before.
Unfortunately, the phone was dropped in water for several minutes. The screen works, but the "touch pad" (digitizer) doesn't.
The phone is about ~19 months old. The battery is OK but not so great (I was never great on a S6).
1) Is it worth checking with Koodo if the phone can be repaired?
2) In the meanwhile, to use the S4 again, I assume we would need to purchase a new Micro-SIM card (the old one is probably not good anymore), and then switching again later to yet another nano-SIM card for a new phone? In that case, is it simply better to buy a new phone outright?
