Questions about new phones/plans/tabs.


Hey. so my phone broke and I need a new one. I'm looking at the Samsung Galaxy S3 right now and I'm wondering this: I have the "Canada-Wide Talk + Text 20 Dbl $20.00" plan. Does that put me under the prepaid category? Or does it mean I can't use tab to help buy it? Also is the phone I'm buying (from Koodo) unlocked or locked to Koodo? Lastly what is the actual version of the S3 you sell, its not listed under specs. Thanks.

You're not on prepaid. Log into self serve, click on "Tab" to view your available balance. The phone will be locked to Koodo SGH-I747M (please like this idea: http://community.koodomobile.com/koodo/topics/its_time_to_revamp_the_phone_specs_features_tabs )

So if its not prepaid how do I buy it off the site without selecting an entirely new plan? Or can you not?

Before you begin, log into SelfServe and then add the phone to the cart. Then complete the checkout process. The phone will be mailed to you.

Alright, but then when I try to check out with a tab it adds "Required: Add a Rate Plan" and a sim card. Also can I not use my existing Koodo sim and save 10 bucks?
