Prepaid Problems, Android, Toronto


I bought a prepaid sim card today, registered the card, got a phone number and everything. I signed up for the $15 base plan, and cannot send or receive text messages of any kind. Why is that?

What phone have you got?
I've got a Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 J320H Duos, and I checked the IMEI already with the tool that the Koodo website provides and it says my phone should be compatible, and has not been reported lost or stolen.

I've used a number of prepaid sim cards in this phone already with no problems.

Be sure the Koodo sim is in slot one. Slot two isn't compatiable
