Prepaid active but not working


So yesterday I opened a prepaid account and tried to port in my koodo post paid number. That didn't work so I though perhaps the port was unsuccessful so then I tried to just get a temporary number and I have one now but it still doesn't work. Does anyone know if this is a problem that can be fixed or does koodo prepaid just not work? Thanks

When you log into prepaid self service, what number do you see? The temporary one you picked, or the number you ported in?
Right now it's the temporary one. At first it was the number I tried to port in but when I popped in the sim card it wasn't working and the post paid one is still active.

I see, well that probably proves that the port did not get through. No harm done though - you can just try to port it in again 🙂
Thanks This is what I get. Your Old Service Provider rejected your transfer request. Common mistakes: • Account Number doesn’t match Old Service Provider records • Equipment Serial Number doesn’t match Old Service Provider records • Security PIN doesn’t match Old Service Provider records • Alternate Contact Number format (should be 10-digits, no spaces, no dashes) • Did not check the “I am authorized…” checkbox Please review and correct your entries, and click “Submit"
