Picture Messaging

Why can't I send/receive pictures by text message? I have an unlimited text plan with no data, but I've discovered now that I need data to use picture texts. This must be a mistake?

Your data has to be on in order to send and receive picture messages, but they in themselves will not use any data, Jim. If you want to be sure your phone doesn't "steal" any other data, make sure you are on WiFi when you send a picture message, and switch data off after you're done.

On postpaid, you can also request a $2 data block on Koodo's side which will enable you to keep data switched on at all times without cost.
