Phone says "unregistered SIM card". Leaving the country in a few hours!!! Can you help me register online please ?


Hi there. [b]Im leaving for the USA tomorow morning and was planning on using my phone so im hoping to sort this out ASAP. Customer service is closed so im really hoping for some help!

My goal is to use my new SIM card to get a monthly plan and immediatly pay for an usa add-on which ill start using tomorow.

Background.. Years ago I had monthly koodo plan and used self serve online. Currently[b] I am on koodo prepaid. But today I just bought a new SIM card for my Galaxy S2 which i purchased in town at the Telus store in Salmon Arm. I got home and put it in and attempted to sign in and register online but the [b]website isnt working for me.  

I entered my first and last name and my phone number but its not recognized.

When i sign in to self serve my email and password (the one i used several years ago) appears to work, the front page says "you do not have any balance owing" but no functions are truly available to me. When i click on different headings I show up on a blank screen again.

 ive tried several browsers but that isnt the problem because My boyfriend signed into his monthly koodo account with no problems but mine just [b]show a green screen with a pink rectangle in the middle. Have you experienced this before? I

Your account is likely just a placeholder by now since it's been dormant all this time.


The TELUS store should have been able to set you up with monthly service.


You could try setting up a new self serve account but you'll have to call in to activate your new SIM. You old phone number is gone.


You really haven't left yourself a lot of time to get this done.

Hey Chad, thanks so much for writing, that makes sense. You are totally right I didn't leave much time. In the store I was informed that id set up the account myself online. I was in a rush and didnt press for more details and thats my responsibility too. Well thank again! ill be calling in the morning

I'll also add that there is the fact that currently, pre-paid does not work internationally. It won't be of use to you once you cross the border Sarah.
