Phone repaired twice - issue remains


I've had my LG G4 for a year now. In June I was having an issue where half of the screen would become static. The phone would eventually just restart. I took the phone in for repair and the issue returned last month. Took the phone in for another repair. Got it back last week and the screen is again half static. What can I do about this?

Get a better phone? Has it been more than a year? You clearly have a lemon and if possible, I would insist on LG giving a straight replacement at this point.

It has been a year exactly at this point. Koodo kiosk guy told me that they extend the warranty 3 months post-repair for the specific issue. Frankly, I'd like my phone to be replaced at this point. I'm not sure if I should talk to Koodo or LG about that. Also, koodo doesn't seem to carry the G4 any longer? Can they just "forgive" my tab so I can get a better phone?

they tried to forgive mine and offered me an LG K4... 199.00 retail I believe

I would insist on a replacement phone from LG without settling for the K4.

Unfortunately you will need to continue with the process and tell them the issue has returned.  Since the repair center guarantees their work, this should not be an issue.  You can tell the person at the kiosk to note down that this is the 3rd time sending it in as the issue has returned for the second time and that the issue may lay elsewhere

Do you know at what point they'd simply replace the phone? It's quite frustrating to deal with this same issue over and over again.

If they determined the phone cannot be repaired, they will have to explore alternatives at that point
Having same issue, Koodo has been no help and LG is willing to fix for free but, only after expressing my discontent. Then I got offered an LG K4 which was a much cheaper version of my phone... Done with LG and probably Koodo.

Definitely it is a frustrating situation, but Koodo does not manufactures the phone, this is the reason why a 1 year warranty is offered by manufacturers... 
I got the same issue on my LG G4. Got repaired once, after less than 1 month of usage, the problem occurred again. Sent in for repair for second time. 3 weeks and counting, still waiting for the phone back.
Honestly who can go more than a week without a phone? I am searching other providers
in the mean time

You are aware that all the other major providers also sold the LG G4.  The providers do that make the phones.  Your beef is with LG, not Koodo.  

Its like complaining to Apple when Microsoft Office on mac doesnt work

Did you use a case on your phone? if you are a heavy user and no case, any phone would properly gets into troubles within a year.

it's been in the otter since the day I got it up until just recently
