Paying bills


I can't pay my bill due to the unmatched name and adress of my credit card and kodoo account!! I make both adresses the same except the provience one which is QC for bank and PQ for kodoo and it is out of my hand. Can it be the problem? It is so frustrating. I hate seeing pay your phone bill reminder on my calender everday.

You can also pay through the automated assistant at *611 option 3, and through online banking (with your account number), which is my personal favourite.

Koodo's addressing is supposed to follow Canada Post guidelines: QC for Quebec. Interesting you can't change it to the correct abbreviation!  Let's see if a Koodo employee jumps in!

Doesn't the "automated assistant" also try to verify the billing address?
Online banking is probably the worst way to pay a bill because:
  1. no cash back or rewards
  2. money is gone right away compared at least 21 days grace period for credit cards
  3. there could be transaction fees depending on bank account type
sara, if Koodo can't find a solution or until they do, try using Paytm Canada from the App/Play Store to pay with a credit card.

I am on Jean-Poerre's side about paying bils using cretdit card rather than online banking. 😛

@ Sara, I see the multiple tries and fails, likely due to what you mentioned above, but can't confirm. At this point likely best to pay your invoice through bank's online account. All you need is the your Koodo account number to set it up.

Thanks for the reply. It is also my first try of paying my koodo bill online. Can it be the issue? I mean I'd rather pay my bills using my credit card not checking account.

Also I double checked my bank and koodo addresses again the only difference is PQ and QC. I have even changed MONTREAL to MONTRÉAL on my bank account so they match.

Let us look into it Sara. Sounds like the your bank has an English profile if they use QC. I'm not convinced that's the issue though.

Its setting is in English yes.
