Not receiving texts


I have a Samsung Galaxy 5 and I'm not receiving texts from pretty much everyone except my hubby. I have taken the battery and sim card out and put back in but it doesn't fix it. What's going on and how can I fix this? Is it an issue with koodo or my phone?

Is the Galaxy 5 new device? or is this a new issue on the device ? Did you have an iPhone prior to this ?
I got this phone last December. It's been working just fine until now. I previously owned an iPhone 4. So I'm guessing it's the phone.

Thanks I tried that and it said I wasn't registered as an iPhone so need to deactivate that. So back to square one 😕

What do you mean? You never used iMessage before so the phone number wasn't registered as an iPhone?
I tried the deactivate imessage and it said my number was not activated for imessage.

Try another Koodo sim in your phone and see if the same occurs
I don't own another koodo sim, I also don't have any friends who live near me with koodo. 😕

Ok, try your Koodo sim on another koodo phone or that's unlocked
