Not all text messages getting through. Please help!


Hi. I have the Canada-Wide Data Double 45 and a galaxy SIII. Most but not all of my text messages are getting through! Losing some important information! Any suggestions before I call customer support? Phone is new to me. Thanks.

Ooh Dave, intermittent problems are the most difficult to troubleshoot! Do you actually spot a pattern to your messages not being sent? Such as certain numbers, times, areas, replying, new messages... or something? If it seems absolutely random I guess you have no option but to call support...
Your not the only person this is happening too. My partner is having problems... I only get some of his messages.
One thing you could always do is take out the battery and the SIM card. Doing this resets the phone and makes it start from fresh. Sometimes this helps. The network may have something to do with this aswell. If the network is congested it will take longer for messages to send. Another factor is that the tower you are using is down. Its rare that it happens but it is possible. If you are certain it is not your phone, call Koodo Customer Service at 1-866-995-6636 and ask if something is going on in your area. Good Luck 🙂
