"no signal found for mobile network"

I have replaced my Galaxy Ace II with a Galaxy J120W and have purchased and installed a Koodo nano SIM card. When trying to text I receive an error message "No signal found for mobile network".  I am a prepaid customer. What do I do next?

Did you switch your line over from the old sim to the new sim on self serve?
Had tried that.  I phoned tech help and my problem is resolved. Thanks.
