No service nor verification email after register a prepaid acccunt


I had successfully registered a prepaid account, activate a new SIM and select a new number, also purchased few booster add-ons about 2 hours ago. I can login to my account and the status is Active, everything looks fine, however I got No Service in my phone nor got any email with repects to the verification. The phone is perfect fine as I had another Koodo prepaid SIM so phone is not an issue. So usually how long will it take for Koodo to activate a SIM? I don't think it should take that long..

It's usually immediate... Have you tried rebooting your phone?
I had tried reboot several times but no lucks.
Well just recevied the verification email and Activation detail email but still No Service.

I would wait 1-2 hours more. It could be some issues with their activation server.

Re-boot without any SIM to reset any connection data. Then insert your new SIM and try again.

Updates:

Called customer service thi morning, apparently there was an outage around service activation  yesterday. The agent initially sent a ticket to the engineer department but nothing happed for few hours. Called back again the same awesome agent help me to deactivated existing and re-activate the SIM and finally I got the service. My SIM lost connection again later and I had to call 3rd time to get SIM re-setup.  Everything seems to be fine now, finger crossed.
