No mobile data network connection.


March 5, 2013. I can't connect to the Koodo mobile network; wi-fi works fine, but 3g/4g is not, and I want to make sure if it's just a temporary network issue or if something is wrong with my phone. Is this going on for other people right now? I've tried the 'turn off, remove battery and sim, restart' solution; my APN settings are correct and haven't changed, so it's none of those.

check your toggles. Your data is the 2 arrowsup & Also. Make sure. "use packet data" is enabled in mobile network settings
Just to complete my info, have a Samsung Galaxy S2X, 2 1/2 months old, and am on the double data plan (2gb). Haven't even burned through that much over 2 months, and I just paid my bill too 😛

If you are able to make and receive calls for sure your account is up and running, if you already power cycled as you said and you are sure that the data is on, I will call Tech support to see if there is a current issue on the area... Check also the coverage map, you will need minimum 2 signal bars to use your internet properly. http://help.koodomobile.com/coverage-long-distance-and-travelling/coverage-maps

Thanks Camilo_A, it was a billing issue after all. Appreciate the help though
Ok, it's up and running now. It may have been a technical glitch, or it may (cough cough) have been the fact that my previous payment was late and service was restricted until proof of payment was received. I guess the noob tag is warranted, my apologies to everyone and to Koodo as well.
