no audio in calls


I have a galaxy s4 with the latest version of android and when i make/receive calls i cant hear the other person and they cant hear me. Ive looked in the settings and found nothing and tried turning ot off and back on what do i do?

I still need help I went through all my settings did the battery thing and fried a factory reset stI'll nothing. I can't call tecynical support number because my phone isn't working properly

Is there friend or family member you can borrow a phone? Or is there Koodo store near you? They can take a look your phone and/or should help you call Tech support.

Reading through some of the S4 support forums some have mentioned toggling Airplane Mode on and off as a fix. Longshot, but worth trying. Failing that, it would appear to be a hardware problem. Your best option would be to either exchange the device if you're within the fifteen day return period, or have the repair done under warranty if the phone is less than a year old.

May i suggest to put the call on speaker? Maybe the earpiece isn't working but the speaker is!?

Unfortunately, if it's over one year your phone is out of warranty. So your only options here are to pay for repair or buy a new phone.
