New Samsung Note 2 keeps disconnecting and reconnecting to wireless network; phone feels warm too

I got the phone in October and it's been working just fine till today on the home wireless network. Very stable till now. Now it disconnects and reconnects to wireless every few seconds. It also feels slightly warm and is losing power at about 4 times the normal rate. I've tried repowering the phone and also "forgetting" the network and reentering the password. The wireless signal hasn't changed to other devices. I'll a fairly new smartphone user so could use some guidance in layman's terms. Thanks!

Still under warranty... bring it in to a Koodo kiosque. Battery is SNAFU probably. Sorry for the technical term...Situation Normal All Fouled Up. In the meantime, please turn it off, and remove the battery. The battery can overheat and damage the phone (Defective LiOn batteries have caused plane emergencies). If you bought it second hand, consider buying: http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Original-Genuine-3100mAh-Replacement/dp/B00C91Y15S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1424747512&sr=8-1&keywords=note+ii+battery
