My Samsung Grand Prime will not connect to network. Text work won't, date is wrong, apps wont update feeds,what do I do now?

over the last couple of days my Samsung grand prime phone has been losing connection to the network, text messages won't send and Bluetooth connection to my car wouldn't work consistently. 
Now last night my phone lost connection all together, texts won't send, apps won't update feeds, date and time won't connect properly.

I tried:
-restarting - no change
-removing battery for 2 minutes - no change
-removing battery and sim for 2 minutes - no change
- deleting all old text message - no change.

Appears to be the phone. what do I do now?
