My Samsung Galaxy Ace phone says Unregistered SIM what does this mean?

So ever since Tuesday afternoon at 4:00, my phone has said "Unregistered SIM" now I normally get that in the country aka Gimli, but I'm in the city now and my phone usually says "Koodo", I have full bars and when I turn it off and then back on it says "No Service" then it will go back to "Unregistered SIM" Can somebody help me? I really miss texting my friends/ family and the bill has been paid so idk what's wrong.. Thanks!

If you don't have a galaxy ace, don't be surprised that the steps to try to fix one don't apply to your phone. Start a new thread clearly starting your question and you'll soon have more than enough suggestions.
Thank you so much! It worked
