My Samsung Galaxy 5830 will not connect to network.

My Samsung Galaxy 5830 will not connect to network. Sending text is not an option now, either. The message that comes up says Mobile network unavailable. I used to have the best reception and fastest response where I live. Now I have nothing.

Try turning off your device, taking out the battery and sim card, wait 30 seconds and put it back and try restarting the device. Sometimes a nice battery pull is needed once in a while.

When doing a Battery pull though it's suggested even by tech support to keep the device on when pulling out the battery and SIM For a minute or so then replace them & then try again.

Thank you so much for all the help. I tried the suggestions and managed to get my cell phone to work.
Thank you. I will give that a try.
